What Really Happened in 2013?

Schedule A Meet & Greet

IMG_1242 (1)My Type A personality makes me a lover of lists. And right now through January, most of my favorite blogs are posting their Top 10 lists; they’re celebrating goals met in 2013 and reflecting on their successes. This is the stuff entrepreneurial-minded dreams are made of: I’m completely obsessed.

Jumping onboard and sharing Rover-Time’s achievements and stats is tempting. But I got to thinking: what really happened in 2013?

What’s Rover-Time capable of doing today that we did differently this time last year?

We’ve built a team.

Good team culture doesn’t just happen; it requires constant work and upkeep. I believe a strong team inspires everyone involved to work hard and continuously improve. And I believe by treating my team with genuine appreciation and kindness, they will treat Rover-Time clients with just as much love.

We started thinking like our clients.

I like genuine relationships, a sense of connectedness with each person that hires us, so this was super fun work for me to do but it took some imagination. Stepping into your shoes, really looking at life through your lens has made a giant difference in how we all work for you.

We now look at growth in a realistic way.
Growth can be good and bad – it depends. It can stress people, processes, and controls. It’s change, is evolutionary, requires continuous learning and constant improvement, and requires processes. It’s a lot of hard, focused work.

We communicate more effectively.
Creating content and engaging with our customers is a way to build relationships. We want to make you happy. And we want to provide you with value.

Looking ahead at the start of the New Year we’re eager to launch new software that will improve customer experience tenfold. It will make booking and paying for service super easy and streamlined. Keep an eye out for an announcement email in early January for more details.

Before I sign off for 2013, I want to hear from you. I’m so grateful for your comments and for the time you take to leave them.

  • What changes have we made that resonate most for you? What have you liked this year?
  • And what ideas do you have for us in 2014?

On behalf Rover-Time, we wish you a peaceful and joyous start to the New Year.

Sounds like great things are happening at ROVER-TIME!. I love your t-shirts. I notice you have one on in most of your photos. In the summer I'd wear one when I walk my dog! Mmm...maybe a new twist for 2014. Cheers, in the new year. Ro
